It will be a good news for automotive seeker, especially for Volvo mania because after the first generation of Volvo S60 that was produced on 2000, then on 2010, this Swedish automaker launches Volvo S60 Second Generation. The Volvo S60 is a compact executive sedan and marked a clean break for Volvo from the boxy design that many associated the brand with in the 1980s and 90s. Its design, done by a design team led by Peter Horbury, built upon the styling of the S80 and was the most marked departure from traditional Volvo styling since Horbury joined the firm in 1992. The S60 was built upon Volvo’s P2 platform, which was shared with other Volvo models like the S80, V70, XC70 and finally the XC90.
